Beekeeper Assistant

Becky’s Beezzzs are delighted to be searching for an extra pair of hands to assist our full time beekeepers. The role will include prepping kit, cleaning boxes, frame making, prepping queen cages, pulling stock, jarring honey and general other beekeeping yard work. You will also have the opportunity to get out with the bees later in the season.

We are very passionate about our work with honey bees and will be willing to share this passion with the right person. You must be prepared to work on your own and you must be hard working in order to have kit ready for team. You must have no fear of honey bees and ideally be local to us. It would also be ideal if have some knowledge of honey bees al though this is not essential.

Contract length: 5-6 months
