Currently recruiting on a temporary basis initially for a Careers Advisor to work with internal and external stakeholders to provide an effective and high-quality, comprehensive careers education, information, advice and guidance service.
To run a careers programme which includes; interventions, 1:1s, workshops, activities and events that are aspirational, empowering.
Main Duties:

- Support the Head of Careers and Work Placement to help ensure the department meets all Gatsby Benchmarks and champions good practice across the team
- Provide a range of careers interventions throughout the learner journey from enrolment through to supporting progression, including 1:1 guidance, group work, workshops and events
- Contribute to the development, planning and delivery of an innovative and effective careers programme
- Implement relevant interactive activities
- Provide support and guidance and refer where needed
- Support users with careers-related online resources
- Coordinate and support UCAS procedures
- Organise in-house and external events / workshops that actively promote all aspects of careers and developing employability skills
Skills Required:

- Significant experience of working in a careers or advice and guidance role to a wide range of individuals
- Knowledge and understanding of Gatsby Benchmark
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to relate to young people from diverse backgrounds
- Experience of developing and delivering presentations, group work and careers related material
