**Role & Responsibilities - **We require a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in order to support our manufacturing engineering activities. This will involve the administration relating to our manufacturing activities, as well as aspects of QA, stock management and accounts.
The role requires a self-motivated, methodical and focused person with an eye for detail, aspects of the role would include but not limited to:
- Job File creation and management, ensuring that all aspects relating to the manufacture of products are efficiently recorded both electronically and physically.
- Liaise with suppliers to develop long-term working relationships, ensuring components or sub-contracted items are delivered effectively and to the correct quality standard.
- Assist the buyer in the ordering of parts and components and chase suppliers
- Assist with stock control administration.
- Assist with invoicing of goods/services on SAGE Line 50 accounts.
- Attend regular production meetings with engineers and senior management, record minutes of the meetings and issue them to all relevant members of staff.
- Assist with internal QA audits.
- Help to improve procedures

Education and Experience Requirements
- GCSE grade C and above
- Administrative assistant experience is preferable but not essential.
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of SAGE Line 50 would be an advantage but not essential.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
