We have expanded beyond delivering real time stats and scores into a world class sports content producer. We deliver content across live sports, video on demand & written editorial, created both by our in-house editorial team & outside talent, including top tier players, managers & journalists. Not only have we opened our very own London based studios, but we are also changing the face of sports streaming, becoming an official broadcast partner of the UEFA Champions League in Ireland. Streaming all 137 matches a season through the LiveScore app.
To support our expansion, we have developed our brand proposition with our 'More than a Score' platform, acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo, as our global brand ambassador and pioneering our very first TV commercial,
Due to unprecedented growth and supported by a robust investment programme, we have opened offices internationally (8 locations worldwide), expanded from 180 employees to over 440 and plan to double our headcount again in the next year. Our new flagship London office is in the heart of Soho on Golden Square, where this role will be based.
**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing individual to join as a display and programmatic lead. This person will be responsible for setting and implementing the display and programmatic sales strategy from both an agency and client direct perspective. They will not only be responsible for driving new revenue into the business but also for building out a team to deliver on their strategy. A strategy built to capitalise on the huge opportunity LiveScore's 5.61 billion global impressions a month brings. This is a new position within a rapidly evolving and so far untapped area of the business and requires an energetic and collaborative operator to work with senior internal stakeholders across a range of departments. We are looking for an innovative thinker, with a track record of product evolution, a proactive go to market approach, and experience in developing a team from the ground up.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Set and deliver the global display & programmatic strategy for LiveScore Media, combining all assets of traditional display, premium formats, VOD & live Streaming for both client direct and agencies.
- Contribute directly to revenue objectives and ensure targets are met
- Demonstrate existing, develop new and maintain strong agency and client relationships at key levels across multiple groups and their relevant individual departments.
- Work with broader internal commercial operations to develop proactive sales collateral and responses to brief which positively integrate and reflect LiveScores brand values and utilise our full media ecosystem.
- Identify and understand industry trends to help generate new opportunities and further product/service developments.
- Work collaboratively with our ad ops, programmatic trading, and ad technology teams.
- Integrate approach with the content and social teams on new sales opportunities.
**Key Skills/Experience**
- Experience in successfully developing and managing a sales team with a strong digital and/or broadcast trading media focus.
- Strong existing relationships with agency and client trading and planning teams as well as relevant senior management figures.
- Proven track record of forecasting, delivering new business, hitting revenue targets, and reporting to senior management
- Excellent understanding of online advertising and technology ecosystem especially programmatic, streaming, & VOD
- Excellent strategic planning, writing, pricing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and eager to work in an evolving and rewarding environment
