**ESOL Tutor**

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST**:
As a tutor you will assess and deliver non-accredited English language classes to non-native English-speaking adults. You will use a range of teaching methods that are appropriate to the learning styles of individuals and support them in improving their English skills and to achieve their learning aims.

**DUTIES TO**:

- To follow pre-planned lesson plans and deliver non-accredited English language classes to non-native English speaking adults
- To assess, review and monitor learners needs and progress
- Deliver and report on your course, using methods and materials appropriate to the group and course content.
- Prepare and implement additional schemes of learning and lesson plans if necessary. relevant to each learner’s assessed needs
- Use a range of teaching methods that are appropriate to the learning styles of individual students
- To accurately record learner progress and provide individualised feedback to learners
- Ensure that all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Uphold existing and new relationships in a professional manner
- Operate a ‘can do’ policy within the team to resolve day to day issues which arise.
- Practice and promote the importance of equal opportunities and diversity considerations
- Liaise closely with Contract Manager and Quality Lead to ensure requirements from funding bodies are met

**GENERAL**:

- Attend internal and external meetings and other key functions as required
- Any other duties which are commensurate with the post
- To perform in a professional and appropriate manner at all times as a representative of Learning Partnerships.
- Comply to Learning Partnerships Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies ensuring all individuals are treated with respect.

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: £25.00 per hour
