**About the role and our team**

The Isle of Man Ambulance Service (IMAS) is on a pathway of transformation An integral part of this is placing clinical input at the first point of 999 telephone contact. We are looking for Registered Health Care Professionals to join our Bank as Clinical Navigators within the Emergency Services Joint Control Room (ESJCR).

We seek to innovate our approaches to health and care and as such you will be part of the longer-term transformation of our services to better meet the needs of the Island’s population and serve our community.

Some of your duties will include:

- Conducting Clinical Triage episodes with patients over the telephone to find the best care options for their needs
- Supporting frontline Ambulance colleagues via shared decision making and onward referral support
- Providing clinical oversight and support for ESJCR operations / IMAS activities whilst helping to build, improve and develop this brand new aspect of our service

**What can this role offer me?**

Be a part of this brand new area in Isle of Man Ambulance Service provision, whilst being a pivotal part of the scheme's development, success and related future pre-hospital care expansions.

Undertake duties that will challenge you both professionally and clinically by triaging, advising and supporting patients who have dialed 999, without face-to-face contact.

Have the scope to use your professional experience and expertise, to ensure patients receive the very best care for their needs, whilst liaising with wider Manx Care provision and partner organisations.

Be an integral part of ensuring the Isle of Man Ambulance Service can continue to respond to those patients most in need within appropriate timeframes and with resources that immediately meet their needs.
