We have an exciting opportunity for an Interior Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This position is well-suited to a person training in or recently qualifying in horticulture, who is looking to develop their skills in tropical plant care and tropical plant installations.

This is a part-time position based in Bristol, working on set days either alone or working with the Lead Interior Plant Designer. As an Interior Plant Maintenance Specialist you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses.

**Key responsibilities**:

- watering and fertilisation of live plant displays
- foliage dusting and cleaning
- pest and disease treatment and prevention
- potting soil amendments and repotting plants
- pruning and staking
- plant rotation for an even growth
- plant workshop shop maintenance and hire plant care

**Additional responsibilities**:

- delivering and collecting plants and pots from hire venues at an increased rate of £15 per hour on an ad hoc basis with dates agreed in advance
- assisting with plant installations at an increased rate of £150 per day / £75 per half day with dates agreed in advance

**Essential requirements**:

- A clean driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or RHS standard training
- Previous customer service
- Able to identify common tropical plant species/families
- Good communication and time management skills
- Able to identify and follow health and safety requirements whilst visiting sites
- Able to lift and use large equipment such as ladders, plants and pots
