**Overheads Controller**

A leading travel/transportation company are looking for an Accountant to join their friendly London finance team and deliver support to the Financial Controller.

Finance team sits at the heart of the business working with business stakeholders to deliver the annual plans, mitigate risk and exploit opportunities. Using a balance of commercial acumen, analytics and management accounting the team work to assess newbusiness opportunities, analyse key decisions, report on performance to the business stakeholders and complete the regular month end reporting and forecasting.

**Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for the reporting and providing in-depth analysis of overheads to the Finance Controller and Finance Director
- You will prepare the monthly review packs for overheads for all cost centres
- Lead the preparation of the contact centre report for monthly meetings
- Putting together the monthly management accounts including variance analysis against budget and forecasts
- Working closely with the FP&A manager and Balance Sheet Controller to manage trading and working capital forecasts.
- Working closely with the Payroll Accountant to obtain clear staff costs movements and analysis
- National statistics returns
- Coding purchase ledger invoices
- Responsible for the reconciliation of the Balance Sheet and having explanations for any queries raised in monthly review meetings
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
- Assisting manager for the preparation of annual statutory accounts & tax packs
- Preparation and support in the audit of financial statements (Internal and external)
- Covering other senior accountants in their absence
- Business partnering and input into the monthly reforecast, working closely with the Finance Controller and Finance Director

**Qualifications**
- Part-qualified/finalist, newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Understanding of financial reporting, full P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
- Self-Starter with a strong work ethic
- Intermediate/advanced excel skills
