Brighter Horizons are a training provider are working with TicTots nursery who have an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to study and work in childcare as an early years lead practitioner apprentice.

You will be part of an energetic and enthusiastic team who deliver high quality care and education for their children and deliver the care, learning and play of the children in such a way that they are well cared for and safe.

You will learn about the Early Years Foundation Stage and how the nursery delivers their Curriculum and Children's Learning and Development plans. You will learn how to record progress for each key child using the nursery's Elite EYFS system.

You will learn how the setting ensures the environments in which you will teach and care for the children are properly set up, clean, safe and hygienic.

You will be;
- Working to support children through play in their learning and development.
- Working with parents and families to support them.
- Working as part of a team to develop and maintain an exciting and inspiring learning environment for the children to support them to achieve their learning objectives and lay foundations for them to to become successful as they move onwards from nursery into the big wide world.
- Promoting the health and wellbeing of all children, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and strategies at national, local and setting based level.
- an active and effective key worker, advocating on behalf of the children as well as disseminating best practice and demonstrating practice required of a leader.
- developing your reflection skills to improve pedagogical practice and initiate personal and team continuous professional development in response to strengths and weaknesses

Training will be offered to support the apprentice early years lead practitioner to move through their qualification and you will have a workplace mentor who will develop your learning and development program within the company and a peer-buddy to support you.

The setting is based inside Total Fitness gym.

Pay rate is dependent on age and experience.

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
