Senior Assessor

**The Opportunity**:

We have 2 summer jobs available for people eager to work outdoors on farms conducting measurements on a range of grass species for PVR and OECD.

This is seasonal work on a casual basis - as and when is required, starting 13 November 2023.

Ideally based in the Lincoln region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct measurements on a range of grass species for PVR, plus cereals and other fodder crops.
- You will work under the supervision of experienced AsureQuality team members until you gain approval to carry out inspections independently.
- Data entry input field survey data into Excel.
- Work independently or in a team of 2-3 people.
- Follow health & safety requirements.
- Drive a work vehicle to commute to trial sites.

**Key Benefits**:

- Full training will be provided on the job.
- Pay rate of $27.59 per hour. Overtime pay rate of $34.48 per hour, for any hours worked in excess of 80 hours per fortnight.

- Casual contract, commencing 13 November 2023.

**About You**:

The right fit people for these roles will have:

- Prior arable / on-farm work experience
- Completed at least two agriculture tertiary papers
- Can-do attitude and ability to work well in a team while under pressure
- High attention to detail, excellent customer service and great written and verbal communication skills
