Drivers Mate

**Drivers Mate required in Faversham, Kent.**

Our client is looking for a Driver mate to join their distribution team. You will be working alongside a Class 1 Driver.

**About this Drivers Mate job vacancy**:

- Supporting the driver throughout the delivery and collection process
- Unloading goods safely at customer premises
- Ensuring that correct delivery paperwork is completed to the highest standards and on time
- Multiple drops to different sites on a regular basis
- Dropping barrels off vehicle to mat and roping into cellars
- Training is due to start mid to late February 2024.

**The Drivers Mate shift pattern**:

- You will be working an average of **42 hours** per week
- Any 5 days out of 7 (predominantly Monday to Friday), with flexible start times between 04:00 and 08:00.

**About you, the ideal Drivers Mate**:

- **Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but not essential**:

- Great customer service
- Good understanding of Health and Safety
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
