Credit Controller

We are a fast growing, manufacturing company based in Stourbridge, West Midlands. Due to our growth across our company group (MG Aluminium and MG Shopfronts Limited) we now require an experienced Credit Controller to join our busy accounts office.
The successful applicant will have full responsibility across both companies for the following but is not limited to:
- Delivering efficient credit control with excellent communication skills and building strong customer relationships.
- Daily sales invoicing and raising of credit notes
- Regular (daily) contact with debtors
- Carrying out credit checks ensuring credit limits are authorised and monitored
- Post cash allocations to ledgers (Sage 50 accounts)
- Reporting direct to Directors with identified issues and steps to resolve.
- Pursue debt collection via legal action where required.
- Producing weekly debtors lists for management.
- Updating ledgers with communication/memos
- Liaising with Company Accountant as and when necessary
- At least 2 years experience of delivering results in a credit control role.
- Excellent IT skills
- Good telephone manner
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts (or similar) would be an advantage.
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Confidence and Persistence
- Natural problem solver
- Team player with positive outlook and be able to work independently.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour
