**JOB DESCRIPTION**

A lady in Jedburgh who has a physical disability and uses a tracking hoist, requires two

Personal Assistants **(job share)** to support her **Monday to Sunday total of 49 hours per**

**week** - There is flexibility in how the hours and days can be split between PA’s. They must

be able to cover holiday and sickness for each other.

**THE JOB**

To assist with personal care throughout the day and showers when required
To assist with meals, this may include cooking meals
To use equipment provided as instructed for moving and handling
Assistance with light domestic tasks and assistance with pets
To work alongside another member of staff
To build a good relationship and to be respectful of needs within the home

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

Cheerful/positive individuals
Good time-keeping
You must be honest, trustworthy and reliable
You must be a good communicator with client
You must be patient and sensitive to their needs.

**HOURS OF WORK** - Monday to Sunday **total 49** hours per week **(job share)**

**Hours to incorporate morning, lunch, tea and evening visits**
**Shift pattern to be mutually arranged
**RATE OF PAY**

£10.52 Monday to Friday
£11.02 weekend rate
Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
