Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. Ideally a level 3 standard or working towards. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a love for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for dogs and cats
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health
- Provide basic grooming maintenance, including ear cleaning and teeth brushing
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or behavioral changes

**Skills**:

- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences
- Competently groom and style a variety of breeds
- Knowledge of animal care techniques and best practices
- Take payments & make bookings. Actively grow and promote the grooming parlour.
- Familiarity with veterinary procedures and ability to identify potential health issues in pets
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes, temperaments, and breeds
- Proficient in using grooming tools such as clippers, shears, brushes, and combs
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dogs onto grooming tables)
