Domestic Cleaner

**Cleaner Job Summary**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building
- Dust and duster rooms, floors, ceilings, and ceilings
- Vacuum and empty trash containers and take out trash
- Wipe windows and remove dirt from glass
- Clean bathrooms by washing fixtures, replacing tile, cleaning fixtures, and taking out trash
- Stock shelves and other parts of the facility with disinfectants to keep them clean
- Maintain supply rooms by removing damaged or spoiled material and retrieving replacement supplies
- Perform janitorial duties such as picking up trash on the floor throughout the day
- Cleaning restrooms after each shift to maintain them in clean condition for customers to use
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

**Skills and qualifications**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail with safety in mind. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend at the waist while working on floors. Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from -5°F to 100°F. This position requires exposure to cleaning chemicals such as solvents, disinfectants, antifreeze, and ammonia. Must have strong communication skills in order to work well with others. The ability to read and follow instructions is also a must. Knowledge of how cleaning equipment works is a plus but not required. This position requires strong manual dexterity as well as the ability to operate cleaning equipment. The ability to follow instructions is also a must in this position.'
