**Salary: HCC - H3 Scale 5-6* actual salary £8,237 - £8,371 per annum** including outer fringe allowance, based on 15 hours per week, term time only

**Hourly rate: £12.54 - £12.74** including outer fringe allowance

**Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm - 6.30pm, term time only**

**Start date: As soon as possible**
- *Full-time equivalent salary = H3 Scale 5-6 £24,189 - £24,582 pa (including outer fringe allowance of £689 pa)_

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and competent Cleaning Supervisor to join our dedicated Maintenance Team. You will work on our continually improving school site which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere.

The main function of this role will include ensuring that areas of work allocated are cleaned to the required standard as well as assisting in the cleaning of the buildings.

You will have strong communication skills and be a positive and proactive team leader. You will be able to multitask, prioritise your workload and have the ability to solve problems as and when they arise.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Supervision of a team of cleaners alongside our Main Caretaker
- Assisting with the end of week payroll records for the cleaning team
- Ensuring the school’s cleaning standards are maintained at all times through the checking of each cleaners’ allocated areas
- Provision of staff training and support to the team
- Maintaining high standards and being an example to the team
- Ensuring hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, practices and equipment are in line with best practice and legislation
- Carrying out cleaning duties to include the cleaning of classrooms, toilets and common areas, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene
- The use and training of appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals to ensure that they are used safely and effectively, following set guidelines
