Veterinary Physiotherapy Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists in providing treatment to patients
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physiotherapist
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
- Clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment
- Admin duties including reception work
Qualifications:
- Animal care assistant/ Animal nursing assistant qualification
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting
- Knowledge of animal handling
- Self-motivated with good use of initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The post is for 2 days (16 hours) per week, one of which will be a Saturday plus one week day (there is some flexibility as to which day).
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
