Social Media Assistant

Overview:
We're looking for a skilled Social Media Specialist to join our team. Your role involves developing and implementing social media strategies to strengthen our brand presence and connect with our audience. You will be the first person to work within marketing for our growing business, and this position offers substantial growth potential.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, written) across various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and customer feedback
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
- You will be confident to speak on camera and take part in live videos.
- You will think out of the box, be brave and take risks with new ideas.
Desirable Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role or an understanding and passion of social media especially TikTok Shopping.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube & TikTok) and their respective audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance metrics
- Basic understanding of public relations principles is a plus
