We are now looking to recruit an Finance Assistant to join our busy Accounts department on a 6 Month Contract.

**Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Payable**
- Checking invoices match the purchase order and delivery note
- Check prices on invoices match ordering systems
- Sort out internal queries with Stores/Purchasing department
- Sort out any invoice queries with Suppliers
- Process invoices onto Purchase Ledger
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
- Timely payment of suppliers by BACS

**Accounts Receivable**:

- Sales invoice processing
- Processing of credit notes for customers
- Allocation of receipts to customer records
- Taking of over the phone payments
- Holiday cover for invoicing in sister companies

**Banking functions**:

- Bank reconciliations
- Cash book entries on a daily basis
- Banking and petty cash
- Processing expense claims and company credit card statements

**General Office Duties**:

- Working to month end deadlines
- Answering phone and general admin
- Cover for other members of the team during holidays and sickness
- Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment by operating within Company systems, policies, procedures
- Demonstrate our company vision and values

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experienced in Accounts and compliant with Netsuite Accounts package and Microsoft Office
- Positive, pro-active person with a friendly approach
- IT Literate
- Good telephone manner
- Accurate and Literate
- A great work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

**What we offer**:
**Salary**: £25,000pa

**Contract**: Full Time, 6 Month Contract

**Hours**: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-2pm

**Location**: Stonehouse
