Influence and align the organisation around the road-map ensuring that it balances short term priorities with longer term objectives, is commercially sound, technically feasible and reflects our operational risk appetite.
- Ensure that the roadmap is implemented by putting in place appropriate formal mechanisms such as governance, accountabilities and objectives complemented with less formal methods such as influencing and visioning.
- Adapt the roadmap on an ongoing basis to ensure that it reflects changes to our strategy, market dynamics, technology, suppliers and organisational learning.
- Lead, develop and build a high performing architecture and strategy team through coaching, mentoring, managing performance and recruitment.
- Own the IT tooling architecture ensuring that its cost effectively supports the Technology operating model.
- It is your responsibility to report any weakness or breach that you identify within the Company’s information systems or services (even if only suspected).
- Ensuring quality, compliance, Health & Safety and safeguarding standards across the Department/location.
- You have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, guests and visitors. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and you also have a duty to report all concerns and co-operate with management to enable it to comply with its health and safety and safeguarding accountabilities.

**Person Specification**
- Significant experience in defining roadmaps of solutions and technology to business priorities, capabilities, and functional structures.
- Broad knowledge and experience across all aspects of architecture including business, service, Application, Data, Infrastructure and Integration.
- Current knowledge of technology trends and IT strategy and how these could be applied to drive value such as, Digital Platforms, Cloud,, O365, Cyber, Data and Digital Service Design and Delivery.
- An understanding of and experience with the use of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as ISO, TOGAF etc.
