**ROLE: Technical Consultant**
- **Business Background**

Furthermore, with the launch of Nebula, AdEPT is entering a new era - providing a solution that incorporates Networking, Unified Communications & IT capability within a unified wrapper, and therefore AdEPT is entering an era offering a strategic solution alongside existing service offerings.
- **Role in Brief**
- The Technical Consultant role in AdEPT holds the responsibility for the design, estimating, planning and delivery of customer projects and IT improvement plans where such projects and IT improvement plans are utilising known capabilities previously delivered by AdEPT IT services. Where you are designing solutions, you will be comfortable presenting such solutions to the client in order that the client is able to understand, costs, benefit, timelines and sign off on the project. The individual is accountable for ensuring that project deliverables are completed per the scope and meet client requirements, and documentation is presented in a profession and concise manner. You are comfortable mentoring less experienced team members, and are able to fully explain and QA the solutions being implemented members of the Delivery team.
The Technical Consultant is responsible for delivering technical solutions to new and existing AdEPT customers incorporating;
- Microsoft Modern Workplace
- Cloud and hosted IT solutions
- Managed IT services
- Server and SAN hardware

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Technical Consultant with strong technical delivery skills and experience of pre-sales processes to join and add value to a growing, ambitious and friendly organisation.
The responsibilities fall into the following areas;
- **Project Delivery **- Working with delivery resources including Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers to ensure smooth delivery of the solution designed, assisting as an engineering resource during the installation process as required.
- ** Technical Consultancy** - Working with the Sales and Service Delivery team and clients to understand requirements and design, propose, present and deliver solutions which are mutually beneficial. You will be responsible for ensuring AdEPT deliver to the agreed solution in line with best practice and customer requirements.
- ** Technological Documentation** - Working within the delivery team to ensure we are updating all technical documentation within the systems and providing full technical handovers to the support teams. Helping guide the support teams with all new technologies and providing clear details of installed solutions delivered.
- ** Project Delivery Auditing** - Providing an auditing role of completed work within the build & deliver team, helping to monitor that standards and accurancy of the solutions being delivers. Helping to highlight to any issues in delivery such as new product awareness, delivery time frames or training requirements.
- ** Project Delivery Planning **- Working with the Project Managers & Group PMO to ensure that all projects are planned and forecasted correctly to account for both client requirements and resourcing capabilities.
- **Key Responsibilities**

**_Technical Consultancy _**
Concentrating on the Microsoft 365 suite of products:

- Working with other teams within the business to provide available resource to review, recommend and critique client solutions
- Working with the customer to understand their requirements, constraints and objectives
- Creating solutions that directly meet and/or exceed these requirements.
- Articlulate benefits of the solutions being recommended and adhered to the AdEPT preferred product portfolio
- Interact with Sales and Service Delivery Function to recommend new products/solutions to be considered as part of the AdEPT product catalogue

**_Project Delivery_**
Concentrating on the Microsoft 365 suite of products:

- Working with other Technical Consultants, Senior Project Engineers, Project Delivery Managers and Project Engineers to understand the requirements and key deliverables in the solutions that are being delivered within the Delivery Team.
- Ensuring project delivery is met in line with the proposal, both from a customer and AdEPT perspective
- Providing additional engineering resource to the Delivery Team as required.
- Reviewing the completed delivery to ensure it meets the design.
