Steelwork Draughtsman

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Interpret project design team information including drawings and specifications to accurately detail projects.
- Review information provided from clients and request as well as track missing information required.
- Have a good understanding of the construction design and approval process.
- Produce professional quality general arrangements and details for design team approvals.
- Upload and manage documentation onto client design submission portals.
- Manage and implement comments received on drawings from designers.
- Quality access and error check the model before producing fabrication information.
- Produce fabrication information including shop drawings, material lists and CAM files.
- Conduct measured site surveys for smaller projects (desirable but not essential).

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience working as a steelwork draughtsman on both structural and architectural projects.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

You must have a minimum of 3 years proven experience in the steelwork industry as a steelwork draughtsman using Advance Steel or Tekla.

Overtime is always available.

You will be based at our head office in London Colney in a friendly office setting with free parking.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
