Applications are invited for a Physician Associate post within the ENT Department of NHS Grampian based at Woodend Hospital. The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team already familiar with working with the Physician Associate role. The post is intended to be focussed on working within the outpatient element of the ENT service assisting with the assessment of patients in a wide range of clinics. The existing PA role within the department is based on Ward 210 at ARI and works closely with the inpatient side of the service. There may therefore be the opportunity to be involved in both aspects of the department depending on the preference of the successful applicant and the needs of the service.

The post would be an ideal opportunity for a qualified Physician Associate with an existing interest in ENT or an ability to demonstrate a desire to develop such an interest. The team within the specialty are experienced in developing and training staff from multiple clinical backgrounds, including PAs. This permanent position is an opportunity to embed skills and competencies in ENT, receive further training and deliver patient care in a supportive environment.

Applicants must also be registered with the UK managed voluntary register for Physician Associates.
