Logistics Supervisor

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Route planning 6-7 rigid vehicles daily - plus contractors
- Driver and fleet management
- Class 2 HGV licence a benefit
- Warehouse experience a benefit

**Hourly Rate**:

- £13.19 - £14.51 depending on experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading, managing and holding accountable the Driving Team
- Assessing every sales order to decide the optimum means of transport
- Planning and routing the delivery vehicles
- Managing the drivers workload
- Organising additional transport and labour
- Liaising with the sales team regarding any issues, always executing their requests
- Delivery vehicle servicing, repair and maintenance
- Operators license, CPC, tachograph compliance
- Managing associated admin including toll charges (C zone, etc.)
- Managing the drivers holiday requests and other absences
