**One such team to be affected will be HR and as such we’re keen to secure an experienced HR Business Partner for an 18 Month Fixed Term Contract. As the successful applicant you’ll offer a wealth of experience alongside a strategic approach to supportingthe business including experience of leading others.**

**Key Purpose**
- Specialist adviser to Directors, Managers, Team Leaders and Employees on all aspects of employee relations, operational HR and wider people issues.
- Work in partnership with the business to enable us to meet our people and strategic objectives
- Act as HR change agent, empowering ownership and developing the people agenda across the business

**Summary of responsibilities**
- Act as specialist adviser to Directors, Managers, Team Leaders and Employees on all aspects of employee relations, operational HR and wider people issues.
- Work in partnership with Directors, Managers & Team Leaders to provide coaching and direction in order to drive personal and business performance.
- Ensure all ER cases are managed within policy and the remit of wider legislation.
- Act as HR change agent on restructuring projects.
- Support the delivery of all people focused customer projects and change activities to agreed timescales and business requirements
- Ensure the compliance with approved company, statutory and regulatory policies/procedures, including all relevant Employment and Compliance legislation
- Work with the People Development Business Partner. Actively looking for ways to develop employees, support talent management and manage succession planning.
- Work with the Resourcing Business Partner to ensure all resourcing for the customer group is delivered in line with the resourcing plan and changing operational needs.
- Manage the accurate maintenance of all employee data (including all reporting) in line with Data Protection and Data Security policies.
- Participate in key HR projects and initiatives and take assigned responsibility for specific deliverables.
- Set an example as a team player, respectful of others in the organisation and maintain a focus on overall business objectives; contributing towards a productive and healthy working environment.

**Skills, Experience and Background**
- Extensive, demonstrable, experience of working within a HR Generalist role, alongside a strategic approach to supporting key stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
- Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to understanding business requirements and turning those requirements into people solutions
- Experienced in conflict resolution
- A pragmatic approach to solution delivery
- Self-motivated with the ability lead others through coaching & mentoring
- A strong communicator with the ability to forge and develop relationship throughout an organisation
- Proven experience of people management
