Kennedys is looking for a Litigation Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to assist with defendant claims in our Public Sector and Abuse Product Group.

**Team**

Our national practice services personal injury claims from seven office locations across the UK. The Local Authority and Abuse Product Group has a major presence in the local market and is ranked in the top tier for defendant personal injury by the legal directories. We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector.

- Individuals

**Cases**
- Complex and historic abuse claims
- Social care claims
- Employers liability/public liability claims
- Human Rights Act claims
- Complex high value claims
- Data protection claims
- Defamation, bullying, harassment and stress.
- Advising on safeguarding issues and reputational risk.

**Required experience**
- Graduate with a keen interest in law
- Attention to detail, time management and proficient within IT systems
- Ability to review documentation, extract information and consider next steps
