About the role

Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the direct delivery of all highways related schemes across the County made up of 4300 miles of road, 151,000 streetlights and 2955 bridges.

Whilst this role will primarily focus on delivering the Authority's capital projects programme of works, the post holder may be required to work on all aspects of street lighting schemes as directed.

As part of our commitment on continuous improvement, how we deliver our service is regularly reviewed. Therefore, job roles may change, and post holder may be required to work elsewhere within the service.
