Infrastructure Engineer

**Infrastructure Engineer (3rd Line, Infrastructure, Engineer, VMware, Hyper-V, O365, Azure, AWS, Backup, Server, Active Directory, Load Balancing, Group Policy) - Permanent - Milton Keynes**

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for a Global business based in Milton Keynes.

**Salary**: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

**Location**: Milton Keynes

**Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer**:

- Experience in a similar role previously
- Virtualization experience with a preference for VMware or Hyper-V
- Office365 experience
- Experience of Windows Server
- Strong Active Directory skills
- Disaster recovery experience

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience within Azure and/or AWS
- Storage, any products
- Load Balancing
- Group Policy

Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer

**The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for**:

- Reviewing current projects and their associated milestones and prioritise
- Maintaining and improving existing infrastructure by consistent checks and reviews
- Supporting IT Service Desk to resolve escalated calls or provide training and support
- Maintaining the Microsoft Server Estate
- Managing changes to network switches and Firewalls
- Perform Software and hardware upgrades to Switches Firewalls and servers across the infrastructure estate
- Maintaining the SAN and VMware infrastructure
