**The Role**
This is a newly created Permanent position which is essential in maintaining integrity of the Company’s materials and assets whilst upholding smooth operations and building efficiencies. If you have exceptional organisation and inventory management skills we want to hear from you

This role will be based in MMA’s Stonehaven facility, reporting into the Business Support Manager.

**Key responsibilities**

**Logistics Management**
- Liaise daily with the operations department to obtain information on movement of materials.
- Arrange material collection from suppliers.
- Organise schedule with Sub-Contractors to ensure efficient completion in line with production schedule.
- Collaborate with external vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Generate freight documentation, ensuring all documentation is correctly stored and archived for logistics operations.

**Goods receipting**
- Goods receiving of materials from suppliers, issuing of receiving documents, checking material quantities against Purchase Order to ensure all material orders are correctly received.
- Traceability logging, identifying and issuing material traceability numbers on raw materials and components parts and returns to stock.
- Manage storage facilities, ensuring proper organisaton and security of materials and assets.

**Asset Tracking**
- Develop and maintain a robust asset tracking system to monitor the location, status and condition of assets.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical assets with the tracking database.

**Inventory Management**
- Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast inventory requirements and plan accordingly.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimise excess or obsolete inventory.
- Planning/requisitioning material to fulfill production/manufacturing schedules, maintaining sufficient stock levels.
- Oversee inventory lifecycle from procurement to disposal.

**Essential Experience**
- 3+ years experience in materials control, logistics or similar experience.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Knowledge or experience with Subsea equipment.
- Desirable: Forklift License and Category C1 driving license
