Apprentice Electricians

T H WHITE has over 26 years’ experience in the fire and security industry and more than 8 years in the renewable energy sector. We provide design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of energy, fire and security technologies including options for 24-hour monitoring and callout support. Our client experience is vast, having installed systems in all kinds of commercial buildings including schools, farms, offices, factories, retail outlets, hotels, bars, restaurants and high security establishments.

T H WHITE Energy, Fire and Security has an exciting opening for two Apprentice Electricians to join the team based in Devizes. Reporting to the Electrical Site Supervisors, the successful applicant will undertake a Level 3 Installation Electrician Apprenticeship in partnership with Wiltshire college. We will supply any power tools or specialist equipment, but job holder to provide their own hand tools.

The Apprenticeship will involve working in mixed environments and weather conditions.There will be some travel involved and stay aways from home will be likely in later years of the course. _(All expenses for this are covered_)

Upon successful completion of this 4-year Apprenticeship, the job holder will achieve an NVQ Level 3 portfolio and Electrical AM2 - resulting in an ECS Gold card _(the industry standard for electricians_).

***Location**: Devizes

**Salary**: National Apprentice Rates

**Hours**:40 hours a week, 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday_. (Overtime paid on hours worked over 40 per week)_

**Key duties will include**:

- On-site learning and shadowing the rest of the electrical team _(collection and return home travel will be arranged by the Company_)
- Attending 1 day a week at Trowbridge college during term time _(must make own transport arrangements)_

We are looking for individuals who:

- Possess GCSE C or 4 (minimum) or Functional Level 2 Maths and English
- Are punctual and reliable
- Are willing to learn and can cooperate well in team
- Have knowledge of using hand and power tools
- UK Driving Licence advantageous
