Security Guard

Job Introduction
As a **Security Guard **at** Scottish Fire and Rescue National Headquarters and Training Centre, Westburn Drive, Cambuslang** No two days are the same and your actions will directly impact the safety and security of the clients and the building they work in. **What you’ll do**:

- Greet staff and visitors and ensure they adhere to the required security protocols, also ensure that the safety and environment for our building users is of our highest priority.
- Monitoring of CCTV, Access Control and other protective systems
- Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
- To carry out regular patrols throughout the shift

**What you bring**:

- Ability to interact with staff and visitors
- Must be over the age of 18
- Standard SIA License is needed
- Excellent communication and awareness skills
- Experience in working in a similar
- Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures

Package Description
