Domestic Worker

Working days will be Tuesday and Wednesday 3 hours, Thursday 4 hours, and Friday 6 hours to be discussed at interview.

To undertake general cleaning duties throughout the practice and dispensary premises dependent on the area allocated to you. To work with the other cleaners during periods of annual leave to ensure all areas of the surgery and dispensary premises are cleaned to the required standard and according to the cleaning schedules in place.

All cleaning should be completed in accordance with the agreed cleaning schedules that are provided for every room and area within the building

Undertake any other cleaning tasks that may occasionally be required, prior notification will be given and overtime paid at the hourly rate.

Adhere to COSHH Regulations as set out in the COSHH folder provided

Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) as directed within the COSHH Regulations set out in the COSHH folder provided

Use of all equipment in line with the Health and Safety procedures as detailed in the staff handbook

To be conversant and comply with Practice policies as detailed in the staff handbook and the health and safety handbook

To ensure the security, privacy and confidentiality of patient information in all its forms

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Pay: £9.50 per hour
