My client is a niche firm operating in the tax sector based in Bath. The firm specializes in the management of property-related HMRC matters and works in partnership with clients to ensure their tax affairs are managed efficiently

As the Practice Manager, your duties will include:

- Management of a team of 5 staff
- Supervising staff in the preparation and submission of year-end accounts, self-assessment tax returns, corporation tax returns, ATED returns and declarations, CGT and NRCGT, VAT returns and ensuring HMRC deadlines are met
- Supervising queries on accounts and taxation matters to clients and colleagues
- General office management and supervision of the internal finance function
- Overseeing the transition to digital working methods to comply with MTD
- Management of your personal client portfolio

This role would suit an experienced Tax Professional with previous experience working within a tax practice or potentially an ex-HMRC employee who has subsequently moved into practice. A relevant tax qualification would be highly regarded, and you will havethe commercial acumen to move into a role involving general management alongside your tax responsibilities.
