About the Role

We are one of the largest toy and baby retailers in Europe We've got over 250 stores in 6 countries - Ireland, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France. At Smyths our continued success is all down to our team.

Rates of pay: £12.20 Per Hour

Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our teams to be as flexible as possible.

Initially, you will be hired on a temporary basis to give you the opportunity to see if you enjoy the fast paced world of retail.

Responsibilities of a The Software Expert:

- Developing an extensive knowledge of the most popular and top selling lines in select departments
- Merchandising
- Delivery exceptional customer service
- Operating a till for Sales, Refunds and Exchanges
- Coaching and developing other members of the team to deliver excellent service
- Opening and closing the store alongside the management team
- Cash handling responsibilities

Additional Requirements:

- Fully flexible in availability to work
- Available to work up to 39 hours per week
- Strong Communication
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Customer service and merchandising experience
