Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the fabrication process
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using various tools and equipment
- Weld or join metal components together using different welding techniques
- Assemble fabricated metal parts to create finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
**Skills**:
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficiency in using welding equipment and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication
**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
