**Healthcare Support Worker**

**Leeds Hospital | Nursing | Permanent Contract | Full Time**

**Up to £24,000.00 per annum depending on experience**

**37.5 hours per week**

Right now, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Pre Assessment Healthcare Support Worker in our Leeds Hospital.

**As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will**:

- In this busy role you’ll support the team in our Pre Assessments providing care for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries. You must be a motivated person who enjoys a fast pace, be able to demonstrate good communication skills (both written and verbal) and show initiative in a challenging and interesting environment.

**As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will have**:

- An NVQ qualification or equivalent is required to level 2, or 3 is desirable, as training will be provided. You will need a flexible approach to both duties and hours as flexibility is key to this role. Shifts may include evenings and weekend work.

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
