**Reporting To**: Programme Head

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and the needs of adult learners.
- Utilise various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and backgrounds.
- **Student Support**:

- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including one-on-one tutoring and mentoring.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Assist students in developing study skills and strategies for academic success.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design, administer, and grade assessments, assignments, and exams in accordance with curriculum requirements.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to facilitate improvement and learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the business management curriculum.
- Ensure that course content is up-to-date and reflects current industry trends and practices.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field of business management and education.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional conferences.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., level 3 Award in Teaching, PGCE, CertEd) is essential.
- Assessor Qualification.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of two years experience teaching at a Level 3 qualification or above.
- Experience working with adult and mature learners, particularly those from challenging backgrounds, is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
