**Job Purpose**:
To always provide outsdaning and customer-centered cleaning services to the assigned premisses. Working in line with the company policies.

Cleaning - Totnes

**Reporting to**:

Cleaning area Lead

**Hours of Work**:
Term Time 36 weeks plus 3 weeks deep clean

Monday to Friday from 6pm to 8:30 pm (start and finish time can be flexible)

12.5 hours per week

**Main Responsibilities**:
Using appropriate powered and other cleaning equipment, daily clean of the premises to a set programme. Duties to include, emptying bins, sweeping, damp mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and cleaning of toilet areas.

Replenish consumables in toilet areas.

Participate in major cleaning activities. This work may include such activities as internal window cleaning, scrubbing, cleaning of light fittings, walls, window blinds and upholstery and high-level cleaning.

Secure doors and windows as instructed.

Reporting any building defects.

Daily clean (brush/remove litter/wipe clean doors/clean glass) doors and adjacent areas of main entrances to a building.

Remove graffiti as directed.

Take rubbish to local collection points.

Work in any area or on any site as directed.

Undertake Training as required.

Attend Meetings as Directed.

Participate in the Performance Review.

Always comply with Company Health & Safety policy.

Any other duties consistent with the grade and general responsibilities of the post as may be required from time to time in addition to those listed above

**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications & training**:
A proven track record of work in a similar role.

Knowledge of employability and safeguarding.

**Previous experience**:
Previous cleaning and or housekeeping experience is advantageous.

**Skills**:
Brilliant people skills.

Outstanding ability to build working relationships.

**Personal qualities**:
Have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy.

Have a reasonable standard of IT.

Be adaptable and willing to undertake a variety of duties.

Be able to work as part of a team.

Be a good timekeeper

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
