Bookkeeper / Administrator

We are a specialist bar design company working with some of the world's biggest hospitality venues. We are looking to fill the position of bookkeeper and administrator, with a person who is competent, friendly and willing to assist and support our studio of designers with their project management. You will be reporting to the Directors, but expected to work with and be part of the team.
We require you to have excellent communication skills to liaise with our clients, suppliers and colleagues to ensure that all parties are fully aware of the status of their orders/projects. You will be expected to have strong IT skills along with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be a key player in ensuring that the administration side of the business flows smoothly. You will be required to maintain a clear and well documented filing system and record keeping.
**Bookkeeping duties**:
Accurate data entry of all invoices and sales receipts
Bank reconciliations
Supplier payments
Supplier invoice processing
CIS reporting
HMRC reporting and payments
VAT returns and payments
Site and travel expenses
Project invoicing
Project purchase ordering
Project reports and analysis
Accruals/prepayments/depreciation (not essential but preferred)
WIP/deferred income adjustments (not essential but preferred)
Payroll (not essential but preferred)
**Administration duties**:
Staff records and welfare
Staff holiday administration
BUPA administration
CRM maintenance
**General administration including**:
Vehicle records
Congestion charge registrations
Telephone system administration
Stationery orders
Answering the phone
