**CNC Nightshift Labourer**

Schedule**:6 PM - 5 AM [Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday]**

Job grade**:Production Staff**

Salary**:£20p/h**

Start date**:ASAP**

Main purpose/function of the job:

- Working with the shift manager keeping the CNC machinery working.
- Finishing parts, looking after machines, and helping with store duties.

Main duties (including supervisory and task responsibilities):

- Method to be agreed upon with the senior technician before carrying out the job.
- De-burring and cleaning - training will be provided.
- Machine care and cleaning - training will be provided.
- Use tools cost-effectively.
- Check traveller for relevant instruction.
- Any mistakes spotted on the traveller must be noted on the traveller with a red pen.
- Sign, date and quantity produced. Stamp the traveller when inspected.
- Clock off the job on the computer provided.
- Inspect each part of the drawing before progressing to the next operation.
- Make sure finished parts are suitably protected for transportation.
- If unsure about the procedure ask the line manager.
- Report to the line manager if the machine/tool breaks down during your shift.
- Do not attempt to amend machine/tool on your own.
- Damaged tools must be disposed of per company policies and not left on a side.
- Participate in problem-solving and countermeasure.
- Keep the work area tidy and safe per company policies.
- Clean the work area 15 minutes before the end of the day.
- Personal phones are not allowed to be used during work. Expecting of any urgent phone calls should be reported to the line manager.
- Smoking is permitted only during breaks in designated areas.
