An efficient, personable and capable Customer Relations Executive is required to join the highly successful and dynamic customer service department here at VDC.

He /she will be responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction from the reactive sales and customer service department. The CRE will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed quickly and correctly; and possesses a friendly and professional telephone manner to answer inbound calls from our customers.

They will also ensure that all correspondence is dealt with swiftly and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and industry deadlines in addition to providing support to customers with their orders. Full technical training will be provided.

A desire to provide excellent customer service and an ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a high standard is essential. The Customer Relations Executive must be sympathetic to customers and their needs as well as be commercially minded. Microsoft Office proficiency, plus being highly organised and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to multitask is a must.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:

- Using SAGE 200 to process large volumes of sales orders and quotations for a variety of the customer base here at VDC in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Receiving and also making phone calls to/from customers and assisting them with any queries and enquiries they may wish to make.
- Being proactive when complaints are received, identifying underlying trends and alerting higher management to prevent recurrence.
- To send proof of deliveries as well as occasionally complete other logístical administration such as booking same day deliveries
- Aid other departments with administration from other areas of the business that require Customer Relations intervention or guidance.
- Liaising and maintaining close relationship with outbound sales, accounts, cable, components, manufacturing, technical and dispatch floors to ensure all orders leave the building to the highest standard.
- Ensuring a customer focused approach is adopted in all assigned responsibilities and to provide personalized customer service of the highest level at all times.
- Using sound judgment to manage difficult customer situations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to actively listen and empathize with customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and able to analyze data effectively

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-focused environment. As a Customer Relations Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers.

**Salary**: £17,606.19-£51,753.22 per year
