Working with a fantastic central Birmingham based business in their search for a talented IT Project Manager / Delivery Manager to join them on a permanent basis to support a number of business wide long term projects. Paying c£55,000 base + benefits youwill be required on site initially full time.
- Ideally you have at least 5 years relevant delivery management experience in programmes and projects in a Commercial environment. You will have experience of initiative and project delivery across various areas of an organisation.
- You are responsive, helpful and understand what is required to make sure our Initiatives and Projects are delivered and effectively managed and communicated upon.
- You are comfortable in the detail and can communicate with a wide range of stakeholders effectively, both written and verbally.
- You are pragmatic and realistic. You report statuses concisely. You are able to foresee challenges and adapt your delivery approach accordingly.
- You ask the right questions, challenge positively and are used to working in a team environment to deliver, utilising all the skills of the team.
- You will Project and Delivery Manage multiple workstreams in order to deliver a programme of change for the organisation.
- We depend on you to keep our projects operating effectively by working with and managing internal and external resources.
- Working with the Business Analyst, you will set clear short and medium term delivery goals and drive the team to deliver against them.
- Where changes to timelines occur and goals are moving off track, you will be able to recognise this quickly and call out any changes that are needed or blockers that are in your way - so that the wider business can react and adapt accordingly.
- Working with the Business Analyst you will be able to pivot the team to the most valuable work when changes are required.
- You demonstrate and understand the need to constantly prioritise and can manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously through your effective management skills. You will take your lead on prioritisation from the Business Analyst.
