**About the role and our team**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable health care professional to join Manx Care as a Long Term Conditions Therapy Team Lead

The Long Term Conditions Therapy Team is a multi-disciplinary team made up of (but not limited) to psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietitians and generic therapy instructors working with patients diagnosed with a long term condition.

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for the leadership, planning and operational issues, education and human resource management of the Long Term Conditions Therapy Team.

Using your expert knowledge and clinical reasoning skills, you will also provide a highly skilled clinical service to patients with complex long term conditions, using evidence based patient centred principles. This will involve seeing patients in order to establish a rapid and accurate diagnosis and management plan. Clinical areas within the speciality include ME/CFS, Long Covid, Neurological, Respiratory and Chronic Pain. The Long Term Conditions Therapy Team also works closely alongside other professional areas such as, GPs with specialist interest, MSK Physiotherapy and the Pain Management Team.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
