Domestic Assistant

The Hall Residential Home has an excellent reputation for care delivery and for helping our residents to “make new memories”.

We are located in the village of Thornton-le-Dale with excellent transport links to Pickering, Malton and Scarborough. The Hall is a beautiful, Grade II-listed residential care home that delivers exceptional care to all our residents.

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and committed individual to join and work alongside our team as we are looking to recruit a Domestic Assistant whose principle duties will be:

- To comply fully with the home's policies and procedures, specifically in relation to Infection Control and Prevention.
- Report promptly to the Housekeeper or Senior any observed deficiency in maintenance or safety in or around the care home;
- Treat the private rooms and possessions of residents with respect, maintaining as standard of cleanliness within such rooms that complies with Health & Safety regulation requirements, whilst recognising the individual right of the resident to choose how the room is to be kept.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Part-time hours: 24 per week
