Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 300 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.

Our 'non-sterile' manufacturing division make a range of licensed and unlicensed medicincal products - from creams and ointments to suspensions and solutions. We're looking to add a **Releasing Officer** to our Quality Assurance team to support this area of our business.

As **Releasing Officer**, your duties will include, though will be not be limited to:

- Providing pharmacy support both the labs and office as required.
- Undertaking Documentation Quality Review (DQR) and release of manufactured products in accordance with defined procedures.
- Answering technical enquiries from colleagues or external parties
- Building new products and coordinating their approval on our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system - Microsoft Navision.
- Investigating new product opportunities including practical development work, raw material procurement and searching for published stability data.

- Act as an ambassador for the business, presenting the Group in a positive way with clients, customers and colleagues.
- Work flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.

**To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate**:

- BTEC National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services or National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Science
- Registration as Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- A supportive nature - and good team-playing mentality
- Capable of working towards KPIs
- Excellent communication skillsThe ability to work at pace and in a high-pressured environment

**Many shift patterns are availble, between our core hours of 0500 and 2200.
