**Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils**are currently looking for a **Corporate Manager - Public Realm**to join our team in **Ipswich.**You will join us on a **full time, permanent**basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£40,478 - £46,549 per annum**(pro rata for part time).

Full time, part time and job share opportunities will be considered.

**About the Corporate Manager - Public Realm role**:
We are searching for an ambitious and driven individual to lead our Public Realm service which is an important part of our wider Operations Team. Working in a beautiful part of Suffolk, you will help to shape the service and continue to deliver our biodiversity action plan. You will need to share our values, commitment, and motivation to really make a difference for our districts.

**About you**:

- You will need to demonstrate:

- extensive experience in performance, people and financial management- experience of managing large operational teams within a public realm or similar setting is essential- seasoned people management skills and you will be adept at successfully managing relationships, engendering a ‘can do’ spirit and bringing stakeholders with you as you improve services- a track record of implementing projects and initiatives- experience gained from environmental or ecological based activity- Your experience in this sector will already give you an understanding of the ways in which public realm services can positively impact local communities and stakeholders and play their part in positively benefiting health, wellbeing and the climate. As someone who understands and embraces new technology and digital solutions, you will be able to make best use of them to manage your services, interpret data and communicate with residents and visitors. You will also be adept at working with suppliers and other stakeholders for the success of the service.
