**JOB SUMMARY**
Located at our headquarters in Milton Keynes, the Sr. Purchaser, Procurement role is responsible for overseeing the purchasing requirements for the company, including managing suppliers, placing orders, and handling general administrative tasks to support the wider team. Other responsibilities include supervising the purchasing team and assist with current project requirements, client, and supplier invoicing, as well as assisting with the implementation of processes and policies.

Hybrid model available.
- Minimum 3 full days at our HQ offices (ted, Unit D Mill Court, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK12 5EU.)
- Optional 2 full days working from home.

**KEY TASKS**

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assist with all aspects of the Procurement of goods and services.
- Monitor procured items to ensure timely deliveries.
- Liaise with our external warehouse to arrange goods in and out to meet project delivery deadlines.
- Following up with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of orders and updating the team about any delays or problems.
- Building, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships, whilst negotiating best price and terms and resolving non-conformity or invoice issues
- Work with fellow colleagues across all departments on multiple projects at one time and combine orders to suppliers to ensure economies of scale is achieved.
- Close liaison with project managers and key departmental stakeholders to identify product and service needs.
- Assist the Sr. Manager to streamline the operation of purchasing and logistics.
- Manage the operation of procurement alongside the Sr. Manager to ensure the organisation delivers on time, on budget and to expectation.
- Ensure client invoicing is completed withing the agreed timeframes.
- Assist the rest of the procurement team with supplier invoicing processing.
- Working with finance team throughout the procurement cycle and providing information to assist with forecasting and budgeting.
- General Procurement administration duties including but not limited to; Creating Pick & Pack lists, Delivery Note/Commercial invoice creation, logging credit card spends as required to support the wider team during busy times.
- Working alongside Sr. Manager and VP, Operations to ensure all purchasing procedures and systems are designed for optimal efficiency.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous procurement/purchasing experience required.
- Previous experience in fast paced environments essential.
- CIPS Level 3 qualification desired but not compulsory.
- Excellent customer Service skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Micros
