What Are We Looking For?
Our Muir of Ord facility is looking for an experienced Pipefitter to join the team on a permanent basis. Your main role is to lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems in our facility and on site.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
- Fabricate pipework from customer samples and/or engineer’s drawings to customer specifications.
- Travel to site when required to fabricate pipework.
- Safe use, of hand tools, machinery and other equipment.
- Assist other disciplines when required.
- Accurately record man-hours.
What Do You Need?
- Time served and fully qualified with experience within the fabrication/engineering industry
- The ability to operate a range of metal forming machines, including, Grinders, Pipe Benders, Die Equipment
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings
- Accurately reproduce components from engineering drawings and/or customer samples
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the sequence of events required to fabricate and form pipe work, and manifolds including site run of pipework without drawings.
- Operation of pressure test equipment
- The ability to follow schematic diagrams to safely erect and fit piping systems and components on site.

- Full UK Driving Licence
