Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for an **Inspector** for our client based within the **Portsmouth** area.

**Working hours**: 40hr week, 7-8am start Monday-Friday 8hr shifts + overtime available. Saturday morning availability preferred.

**Salary**: £13 - £17 per hour dependent upon experience.

**Experience we're looking for...**
- **Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience within inspecting mechanical components, **experience inspecting one offs at a quick pace.
- Experience in motorsport type environment, highly desirable (High Value/One offs to Low Qty batches).
- High attention to detail and good levels of concentration
- The ability to read and understand drawings and CAD data
- Basic IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and the Windows environment

**Your daily duties will include...**
- Ensuring all components are manufactured within customer specifications
- The preparation of inspection files in Power Inspect
- Use of a Romer Arm with Power Inspect and manual tools/techniques
- Building concise inspection reports, and storing them appropriately
- Self-managing workload to maintain on time delivery
- Communicating feedback to key personnel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Portsmouth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mechanical inspection: 2 years (required)
