Internal Sales Representative

**Description**:
The Internal Salesperson is a key member of the sales team focused on the sales of construction material products as part of the Central region.
The Internal Salesperson is responsible for dealing with inbound enquiries from customers, offering sales admin support to TSMs and pricing/chasing/winning orders.
The internal salesperson will work closely with the distribution/shipping team offering support on the phone and dealing with customer orders.
To positively represent the Breedon brand the Internal Salesperson offers our customers an excellent and professional service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all phones are answered in a timely manner
- Enquiries are to be recorded on the telephone enquiry pad
- Raise quotations and price them within the tolerances agreed by the TSM responsible for the area. Contact names and phone numbers must be added to every enquiry
- Add relevant notes to enquiries detailing any correspondence with the customer
- If additional lines are requested, notes must be added detailing who requested them and who agreed the price along with the date and time
- Process order acknowledgments when POs received and confirm via notes on Excalibur
- Enquiries you receive will be logged into your name on Excalibur for the purposes of the chase report
- Enquiries will be chased through to won or lost and managed via the quote chase report
- Generate weekly reports for the Commercial Manager by 17.00 on Friday, reporting key sales data including orders which you have won/lost and any significant enquiries
- Raise and price enquiries as requested by the TSM, returning them in a timely manner.
- Actively seek and identify opportunities to sell additional products and upsell on the initial enquiry received.
- Respond to invoice queries within 7 days of them being added to your query log.
- Logging complaints and liaising with production/territory sales manager.
- Work pro-actively to identify new or declining customers, sites and opportunities.
- Support the Distributions team with calls and enquiries focusing on first call resolution.
- You may on occasion be required to cover other departments depending on workload and staffing levels.
